There is a new non-profit that has been started by a group of artists here at Grace. This is something that has been in the works for a long time. The first event is coming up in March.
The organization is called Echo Long Beach and has the long term goal of establishing a presence in the downtown community by way of a permanent gallery space. Until the organization finds a permanent gallery space they are going to be organizing exhibitions and working with existing galleries to host them. Their launch event is coming up on the second Saturday of March at Platform West Gallery at 1st and Linden in the heart of the Arts District, downtown Long Beach.
Attached is a document that t will give you a good introduction to the organization.
